It's a very, very rainy day here in Boise... it reminds me of the storms I've witnessed back East (minus the lightening and thunder). Hope everyone is doing well. I'm hoping to come back for a visit soon and look forward to seeing everyone!

What is Apemon manteri?
This species of fungus gnat was discovered in 1930 near the Willimantic River. Charles W. Johnson, who published the discovery, named the species in honor of Jerauld Armington Manter, who was with him when the species was collected.
